Experience Required:
5+ years. At least 3 years' relevant experience in Telco Industry.

Requirement:
Engineers with GSM (preferably 3G) experience for a Core Network Planning & Optimization position. Working knowledge of Core(NSS) network is sufficient.

Responsibilities:
To work for GSM switching should have strong switching knowledge & well versed with switching fundamentals. Possess strong switching fundamentals in NSS Routing, Signaling and O and M.

     • Experience in maintaining Nokia CS CORE equipments (2G MSC/VLR/HLR & 3G Rel 4 including MSS/MGW).
     • Capability to Correct NSS faults and performance degradations
     • Capability to plan NSS and MSS systems. This includes detailed planning and dimensioning of the network elements.
     • Executing guidelines for network planning and creation of numbering, naming and signaling plan definition.
     • Parameter configuration checks.
     • Familiarity with handling of Switching Equipment & signaling protocals like CCS7/SCCP/MAP/CAP/
       ISUP/SIGTRAN/H.248.
     • Traffic Engineering & Analysis,Familiarity with reporting tools, generation of switch reports generation.
     • Analysis and Rectification of faults based on system generated Alarms.
     • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators as per business requirements.
     • Optimization of Switch Resources and KPIs.
    
Eligibility:
     • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (majoring in telecommunications preferred).
     • At least 2 years' relevant experience in Telco Industry (Preference for candidates having knowledge on switch planning/optimization)
